When The U.S. Paid Off The Entire National Debt (And Why It Didn't Last)

It's amazing to think about -- a nation with no debt. I wish more people new about that magical year... they might think it could be done again. or at least they may think seriously about at least reducing debt load, or banker's powers... looking at this entry from the year 2013, I honestly don't know what it would take. A total crash & re-start? A complete revamping of our currency? (we could have a school-children's contest to decide what to call the new currency) I think it'd require having the media in one's favor-- something we sure don't have right now.
